A blonde haired male searched around the park for a little (h/c) girl. His bright blue eyes scanned left and right, but there was no sign of her. He was growing worried. The child was only 5.

"(Name)!" He yelled, staying silent for a minute. When he got no response, he frowned.

He was about to yell again, but a light giggle made his sensitive ears perk. He mentally sighed in relief and looked around again.

"(Name), where are you?" He asked, and he heard another giggle.

He followed the soft sounds until he came to a thick tree. He peeked around the trunk to see a few strands of (h/c) hair. He smiled warmly, a rare thing.

"(Name), what are you doing?" His German accent cloaked his words, but the young girl had grown fond of it and could understand him easily.

"Luddy!" She whisper-yelled. "Don't talk so loud! You'll scare her away!" She shushed him, and he held up his hands in surrender.

"Okay, okay." He carefully sat down next to the girl, staring at her clasped hands. "What is that?" He asked lightly.

She smiled big and turned her big (e/c) doe-eyes up at him. "I don't know. But she's pretty and she just landed on my knee when I was picking the daisies." She said quietly, but with excitement in her voice.

Ludwig nodded and scooted closer to the young girl. "Can I see her?" He leaned in a little.

(Name) nodded and brought her tiny hands closer. Ludwig watched carefully as she revealed it.

When he saw the pretty insect, he stared in awe. "Wow..." He breathed, and the creature moved her lovely, delicate wings slowly.

"Isn't she pretty?" (Name) asked gently, gazing down at the small insect adoringly.

Ludwig nodded, still amazed. "(Name), do you know what she is?" He glanced over at the girl, and she shook her head.

"She's called a butterfly." Ludwig held out his index finger for the beautiful creature, and it slowly crawled on it. He lifted it up a bit, and the (e/c) eyed girl stared with a big grin.

"A butterfly? What a pretty name!" She giggled.

Ludwig smiled, nodding. "Very pretty." His eyes drifted over its fantastic blue wings.

"She's beautiful. I love her wings." (Name) reached her own index finger up, and the butterfly trotted onto her finger. "This is so amazing." She smiled. "I will December this moment forever." She whispered, and the creature fluttered its wings.

Ludwig chuckled. "I think you mean "remember," Schatz." He patted her head.

She nodded, still gazing at the butterfly.

"Well, it's getting late. We should get going." The blonde man looked at the little girl.

"Aww..." She pouted, looking up at him with saddened eyes. "But what about the butterfly?" She asked, holding up the creature.

"Well," Ludwig started. "I know that she will be here tomorrow, because this place is wonderful. She likes it here, and she loves to visit you, so she will wait until you come back tomorrow. And then, you can spend more time with her." He looked down at her. "Sound good?"

(Name) smiled wide and nodded. "That sounds great!"

Ludwig gave a smile of his own. "Good. Now, say goodbye." He stood up and stretched.

"Bye bye, butterfly." The (h/c) girl gently held the butterfly to the little white daisies, and watched as it climbed onto one. She stood back up and waved, taking Ludwig's hand in her own.

As they began the walk home, (Name) looked up at the tall man. "We'll come see her tomorrow, right Luddy?" She asked, her (e/c) orbs sparkling.

He chuckled and nodded. "Ja, we will. I promise."

"Okay." She leaned into him. "Ich liebe dich, Luddy." She said.

    He smiled.

"Ich liebe dich auch, (Name)." He said back.

They walked home together, and when they got home, little (Name) bragged to Gilbert about her new butterfly friend.

[End]

Yay!Love  Luddy, I love you.

So, since Romano x Child!Reader- Pearls was such a hit, I decided to try one with Germany. I tried to think of something a small child would be amazed by, like the pearl. Butterflies amaze me, so I did that.:happybounce:

Anyways, I hope you like it!I am a dummy!
