Male!Belarus x Reader [Little Love Notes]

    The day had started out boring and normal. Your mood was dull today, and your boyfriend Nikolai was oddly quiet today. The teacher was droning on, but you weren't paying much attention. You instead chose to doodle in your notebook, your eyes occasionally looking up to glance at Nikolai, who was scribbling on something you couldn't see.

    You let out a small sigh, scratching out the annoying, dumb picture you drew. You flipped to a new page, pressing the tip of your pencil against the paper, but something else caught your eye.

    It was a folded up piece of paper.

    You looked up to Nikolai, but he was still writing swiftly. You took the note with your fingers, carefully unfolding it and reading over the all too familiar scrawl of your Belarusian boyfriend.

    Your smile lights up my day.

    You let out a soundless 'Aww,' turning to gaze at Nikolai but finding another note at the corner of your desk.

    Gently, you placed the first note aside, moving to grab the second. You opened it up, reading;

    I want to hold you in my arms all day.

    You smiled. It wasn't usually like Nikolai to be this sweet, but when he was, it was adorable and you cherished it. All these notes? Straight into your memory box.

    Another rustle of paper was heard, and you looked up to see 2 more notes on your desk. Nikolai continued to scribble them down, blocking out everything and focusing solely on the paper he was writing on.

    You picked up both, reading them with a huge grin on your face.

    You make my heart skip a beat when you laugh with me.

    Everything about you makes me fall more and more in love.

    You bit your lip, holding back tears of pure joy and happiness. Nikolai was wonderful to you. He always was there for you, always trying to help and love you, you couldn't be happier with him.

    It went on for the rest of the class. Him passing you notes and you smiling at them. The little pieces of paper meant a lot to you, and Nikolai knew that the moment you read the first one. He didn't stop until he reached the last piece, and you watched him write slowly and carefully, as if the message was too important to just write down in his normal scrawl.

    Your heartbeat sped up a bit as he took his time folding the piece of paper. You watched closely, but you couldn't see what he was doing. Finally, he turned to you, looked you in the eye, and personally handed you the note.

    Your eyes widened as you saw that he had folded it into a heart. How he did it, you'll never know, but he did. You didn't want to unfold it, but at the same time, you did. You wanted to read the message, so you slowly and carefully took apart the paper without ripping it.

    Your eyes filled with tears and you nodded as you read over the two words that were written in the center.
