Romano rolled over in his sleep, hazily reaching out for his newly adopted puppy. The bed was cold and empty beside him, and it woke him up more. In a panic, his eyes searched the room for any sign of the little dog, but he found none. He sat up, worried that you might've hurt yourself.
Realizing that he was panicking for no reason, the Italian sighed, rubbing his eyes as he slowly slid out of his bed. What a pain. The moon provided a gentle light that he was grateful for after almost running into the door during his daze. He knew exactly where to find his furry companion. There was no reason for panic.
With his hands on his hips, Romano gazed at the curled up puppy with a small frown. The dog had come to love his couch for whatever reason. How she even managed to get up there in the first place was another mystery to him. Still, he couldn't deny that it was adorable how she curled up tightly in the deepest corner, almost as if she was trying to turn invisible or melt into the couch.
The brunette never saw how comfortable the couch was. It was nice to sit on after a long day, but the bed was much softer and cozier, but when he went to bed, the puppy never stayed for long. She always wandered out here to the couch. It bothered Romano that he loved the puppy, but she didn't seem to like him back. Maybe that was why she slept on the couch and not in the bed with him.
In reality, it was the opposite. You loved Romano to death, and you could sense that he had trouble expressing himself and that he was usually grumpy. So, you purposefully made him walk out to get you in the middle of the night so he could show himself he cared for you. It was sweet when he mumbled under his breath, bringing you back into bed and cuddling with you till the morning came.
You felt the couch dip in under his weight and you shifted, opening your eyes to peer at him. He looked tired. You wondered why he hadn't picked you up yet.
"Why do you do this to me?" He asked quietly, scooping you up gently. There we go, you thought. Suddenly, Romano laid down with a sigh, placing you on his chest. He slid one hand behind his head while the other rested on your small, warm body. You shifted on his chest, looking up at him.
"If you don't want to sleep in the bed, you could've said so." He murmured, amber eyes slipping shut. With a small noise, you shuffled closer. Romano stroked your fur softly, and you fell asleep again.
"Goodnight, ______." He said softly. Your fluffy little tail wagged gently before it stopped.
Romano fell asleep with a smile on his face.

Your eyes widened at the sight, and then you let out a puff of air in surprise and happiness.
An annoyed looking brown volpino italiano toy dog was shuffling around like it wanted out. It look up at you, and it's big fluffy tail swayed just slightly. You grinned and picked it up, but it seemed to not like this, because it squirmed, but after a few minuted, he got used to you and laid his chin on your shoulder with a huff. You giggled.
"He's cute, I think I'll name him Lovino~" Lovino growled at you calling him cute, which only made you giggle more.
Your dad tried to pet the dog's head, but Lovi snapped.

A volpino italiano dog with light, redish brown fur was sitting at the bottom, panting happily and wagging its tail. You smiled and picked up the small dog, it like your face and yipped.
"He's so sweet! I love him, thank you thank you thank you!" you said, cuddling the Italian dog.
Your mom reached over and scratched it's ears,"You're welcome, honey, he likes you already."
The dog let out a small 'arf!' in approval and licked your nose with affection.
You decided to name him Feliciano, and he seemed to like the pasta

There was a sort of small, sort of big, kind of medium sized shiba inu sitting patiently at the bottom of the box, with black, white, and tan fur. He stared at you with dull, mud brown eyes, it's tail twitched slightly. You stepped back so he could leap out of the box, and then you held your hand out, politely asking permission to pet the dog's head. He sniffed your hand, then bowed his head, where you gave a light pat.
"He's pretty, I'll name him Kiku~" you said, scratching the dog's ear.
Kiku wagged his tail at his new
